Home Grown WA Dining Experience
Savour Western Australia’s finest flavours on a stunning island escape

- Friday 30 May
- 5 pm - 8 pm
- Paid event
The Home Grown Western Australia is the first in a four-part dining series celebrating the rich culinary heritage of our state. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Wadjemup / Rottnest Island, this special evening invites you to indulge in a specially curated menu that journeys from coast to countryside.
Hosted in the elegant Bayside Room at Samphire Rottnest on Friday 30 May, from 5 pm to 8 pm, the evening begins fireside at The Beach Club before transitioning to a seated dining experience. Enjoy standout dishes such as Shark Bay blue swimmer crab, Abrolhos Island scallops, Cervantes lobster tortellini, Lake Janis Jersey beef sirloin, and a sweet beetroot tartin—each thoughtfully paired with premium wines from Sandalford’s iconic Western Australian portfolio.
Guiding your wine experience is Jamie Forrest, Sandalford’s Cellar Door Manager, who will share the stories behind each pairing and the regions they represent.
Tickets are $195 per person, including the full set menu and wine pairings. Open to both Samphire guests and the public, this is a one-night-only event not to be missed.
For those seeking a complete island escape, extend your experience with an exclusive package: one night in Poolside accommodation, the full Home Grown dinner experience for two, and return ferry transfers from Fremantle with Rottnest Express—all for $800 per couple.
Spaces are limited. Book now to secure your seat at the table and experience the best of Western Australia’s culinary landscape in one unforgettable evening.
